Why we built it
Most of our clients change a few words and publish the odd post. They did not need a full content management system to do it.
The problem with keeping websites on WordPress
WordPress served our clients well for years. But looking after a large number of sites, we kept seeing the same things: plugins needing updates every week, security patches that could not wait, page builders slowing pages down, and clients faced with a dashboard built for developers when they only wanted to change some text.
What clients actually need
When we looked at what clients really do on their websites, the list was short. Change words. Update a phone number. Publish a post. Read enquiries. Check the site is working. So we built a console that does exactly that, and does it well.
Who looks after what
We build the website, install the console and look after hosting, updates and anything bigger than a text change. Clients own their words.
What we would not compromise on
Fast by default
Plain HTML pages, with nothing heavy loading in the background.
Safe to use
Locked layouts, and every change recorded and reversible.
Nothing to patch
No plugins or add-ons to keep updated.
Clear ownership
Clients own their words; we look after design, hosting and code.
